Conditions Treated with Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic Medicine can treat a wide variety of both chronic and acute/short-term health conditions. In some cases, natural treatments alone may successfully manage a health concern. In other instances, however, they combine with conventional medical treatments to decrease treatment side-effects. They may also reduce the need for medication, while supporting the body’s natural healing processes (see Principles of Naturopathic Medicine). Thus, naturopathic medicine may be viewed more as integrative, vs. alternative medicine.
